BLOG FOR CHOICE 2007

Last year on Blog for Choice day I wrote about why I chose to have an abortion in college. This year we are tasked with writing why we are pro-choice. It's a pretty easy answer now that I'm a mommy. I am pro-choice so my daughter will have reproductive freedom. Sure she's only three (and a half!), but give it 15 years. I don't ever want her to feel ashamed or scared about birth control. I hope she chooses well. I hope she takes my advice. I hope she asks. And if, god forbid, she has to choose to terminate a pregnancy, I will be right there with her. I hope every woman would do the same.
