WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD

While the The Girl's naps that last until nearly 5 p.m. do wonders for my to-do list, they are becoming a bit of a problem when it comes to bedtime. Last night we went to bed at 9:30 the first time. Then she got out of bed and watched the Charlie Brown Christmas special (love you Tivo), ate a cheese stick and a sipper of milk. I have no idea what time it was she finally climbed back in bed. Damn. I think I actually have to start doing some sort of parenting now. Like a schedule. Sheesh.

I don't know her usual schedule, but if she's currently 2 naps a day, does she need to lump them into 1 in the middle of the day? It IS hard to end that glorious daytime sleep, isn't it? I count on it to get things done.

I was usually went to bed when my parents told me to. But once the lights went out, I was up, in the dark, playing with my toys.

Scattered 'em all around on my bed and on the floor.

Maybe I did it to trip the boogey-man so he couldn't get me.
