The Girl's preschool is closed for summer break until late August. Therefore I have no energy or creativity because it has all been sucked up by the nearly-three-year-old terror that is my daughter. Fits of anger, demands that if unmet result in SCREAMING, a near-life-threatening need for chocolate milk (no, pink milk. No, chocolate milk. Um, maybe a jumble of both mom, OK?). Sound like fun? No? STAY ON THE PILL, PEOPLE!
To top it off, we have my Dad's dog for a week while he and the ladyfriend vacation up the coast. At least The Girl has someone other than me to annoy constantly.
My recent mantra: It's just a phase. She doesn't know how to harness her emotions. I am an adult. She is a child. Lather, rinse, repeat.
