JUST HUMMING ALONG

The Girl and I were visiting the inlaws last week while hubby was in Miami on business. One night I was nursing The Girl, trying desperately to get her to go to sleep and not go visit Nana in the front room for the 12th time. Anywho, she started to hum while nursing. I couldn't place the melody (or lack thereof) so I asked her what it was. Her matter-of-fact reply, "The Boobie Song." I said, "Hmmm, I don't know how it goes. Can you sing it?" So she started humming it again and said, "Like that!" There are no words, it's an instrumental, of course. And with that, her first song was composed. I wonder if that's how Mozart started.
