After an extremely busy week taking care of my recuperating Dad, The Girl and I made it home Friday afternoon. We were able to spend exactly 36 hours with hubby/daddy before he headed to Sarasota for a week on business. I was really looking forward to some down time this week but no luck. Dad needs me back in Carlsbad. When I left him, he was doing better. But now he's not feeling well and my sis and his lady friend are both out of town, so back I go again. I think he just needs to go into an assisted care facility again while he gets back on his feet. It worked wonders for him last time so I will start calling his doctors in the morning.
I hate Mondays.

My mom and I were having dinner in Beaufort tonight and some guys sitting at a nearby table were talking about boats and boat shows and Florida. I thought of your husband and you. I also thought of how my instinctive flirting mechanism really should be disabled since I'm married now. That's hard.
