ROCKIN THE SUBURBS
Sunday was the third-annual Ventura Hillsides Music Festival at Arroyo Verde park and it rocked. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy played to their hometown crowd and then Los Lobos did a great set. The Girl & I have been to all three shows but it was hubby's first. I smuggled in some Malibu rum in The Girl's Tinkerbell lunchbox, so that made the day extra nice and relaxing. And yes, I have just admitted to using my daughter as a mule for liquor, as well as the fact that I
took her to her first concert at the park when she was six weeks old.
