72° & GUILTY

It was such a beautiful day here...72° and sunny, clean running water, electricity, food, gasoline. The streets are quiet. No dead bodies. No gunfire. While it's Labor Day in Ventura, it's still hell on the Gulf Coast.

Bravo to the Times-Picayune for their editorial, an open letter to President Bush, that ran in today's paper. If you haven't been reading their coverage, please do at nola.com.

I'll blog some cute everyday stories when I start to feel sunny again. In the meantime, here are a couple blogs I have come across in the last week that are of interest:
barefootcajun
ABB (Damn, she's good. The bitch knows how to make a strong point.)
survivingthestorm
and a PBS documentary that sounds familiar, Fatal Flood.
