It was another georgeous day in Ventura so I thought we would head to the beach for a special lunch... McDonald's Happy Meals alfresco. Unfortunately, I forgot that a 19mo doesn't want to sit and eat while reflecting on the awesome power of the sea, she wants to eat and show me her awesome sand throwing power. Sand in the fries eventually turned to fries in the sand. Grace ate two bites of her cheeseburger and then made frantic attempts at getting my soda. Damn...there are no highchairs at the beach.
Life lesson.
