In retrospect, this was probably a time when I should've kept breastfeeding! I'm now nursing a second baby, a 7-month old, and don't know when I'll wean. No plan, really. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with continuing on past the age of 2 because frankly I'm a wuss about dirty looks in public, but I certainly have no problem with those who stick it out. In my experience, there are kids who nurse purely to get milk, and there are those who nurse for food, because they're scared, becasue they're hurt, because they want extra mommy-time, etc. I guess I now like the idea of letting the kid decide when to wean.Sugarmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04425625624997484305noreply@blogger.com
